Outreach

The outreach program offers Triangle Parents of Multiples members an opportunity to discuss concerns and seek support from other TPOM members. While the Buddy program matches members up with other members for one-on-one relationships, the outreach program offers the support of a group of members who can offer multiple approaches to specific concerns.

Outreach will focus on topics of interest such as:

  • My doctor has cautioned me that bedrest is not uncommon for a multiple pregnancy. Just how common is it?
  • Of which items do you need two (or more), and of which items do you need only one?
  • How realistic is it to plan on nursing my multiples?
  • How will you feed two or more at a time?
  • What resources are available for those moments when I’m not sure I can cope with raising multiples?
  • Should I potty train my twins at the same time or separate?
  • When should my toddlers drop from two to one nap a day?
  • Should I keep my twins in the same class at school or separate them?

What to Expect at a Monthly Meeting

OUR MEETINGS ARE VIRTUAL

7:15pm-7:30 pm: An open discussion format with a facilitator. No question is too small, too big, or too embarrassing! This is your opportunity to talk to moms who’ve been there and done that and to offer each other support and advice. The questions don’t end when potty training begins! Talk to other parents going through the double (or triple) joys and challenges of having multiple toddlers.

At 7:30pm: Member Meeting: A topic-centered meeting.

Can you help with donations?

Do you have diapers that your kids have outgrown? Containers of formula you are no longer using? If so, please consider donating them to Family Assistance. We are currently in need of diapers, wipes, and formula for our Family Assistance families. Email familyassistance@trianglemultiples.org
